It's really inspirational to look at the work you can do now and then see that you made this in 2004. I don't mean to say this is bad or anything, it just pales in comparison to the work you're currently producing. It gives me hope that one day maybe I can improve that much!
im very happy to see that people are still seeing and commenting on this piece. I'm goin to actually start updating my page now, and since I'm going to be putting recent work on my page, I want everyone to just be aware that this one is pretty old and is beginning to show it in comparison to my newer stuff (I finished this one at the end of eighth grade).
and Prae7orian, you missed it on HBO cuz i never thought to post it there. I'm kind of surprised I didn't though, cuz it woulda been the perfect place to show it. Well, I might do a new version of this piece, so it might turn up there sometime in the future.
impressive, the helmet-less ODST here is outstanding. Nice lighting too, I'm surprised I haven't seen this on H.B.O. at all (or maybe I just missed that post ). The only thing that stands out to me is the arm of the trooper in the background...seems a tad bit out of proportion, but it's no big deal. Still, awesome work.
Nice. The lighting setup is interesting. This piece makes me think of Doom 3 for some reason, even though this is obviously not set that far in the future. Must be the helmet and the shadows. Great first deviation, canít wait to see more.
It amazes me how IoKra critiques peoples work with such distain when his own skill level is FAR below the works of art he is criting , your piece is a VERY accoplished piece , I especialy like the face of the soldier as we all know faces are one of the hardest subjects to pull off with skill. Its a good moody atmospheric piece and you should be proud.
iokra, i replied to ur message, but it didnt show up on this screen. So now im confused and curious as to if u recieved it at all (deviantart's wierd man). If ya didnt get a reply, then just holla and ill send another.
