I love the right eyeball on the zombie guy. Sorry if that's the wrong term, I don't play Magic. But it adds just a hint of humanity to it, so you can almost feel sorry for it. But he's also trying to eat you. So... forget the sympathy. Survive.
Okay, I gotta ask.. what is your workflow in terms of studying poses? Do you use photo references? Models? That's because your poses are just so weighted, they communicate movement and intent in a way that's just so believable and fascinating!
The elf's expression really draws me to this piece. It doesn't look pretty... but it looks real and that's what counts. I believe that he's actually struggling (and not just posing) and is afraid of what's happening. It's rare, I think, to pull off that believable of an expression so well. Bravo.
